I made this with the intention to post it on Instgram
I need to post on the blog, but Instagram is just so easy!
Hayley Parlen rocking the the CrossFit forearms, hands and shoulders.
I will soon post photos shot with the Canon MP-E and the Canon macro 100mm of the same eggs.
This photo shocked me. I thought Kenneth(180lbs) was much larger than Josh Bridges (165lbs), but in this side by side photo, you can see that height, not girth is the primary difference. Both men are extremely swollen after having done 100 wall balls, 100 pull ups, 100 pistols and 100 one-armed dumbbell snatches.

It’s been too long for the fans, but it has been worth the wait. 2009 CrossFit Games Champion, Mikko Salo will represent Finland at the CrossFit European Regionals May 17-19th .
Coming out of the water on day 1 of the 2012 CrossFit Games, the remarkable Becky Conzelman.
Scott Panchik is the biggest threat to Rich Froning (CrossFit Games Champion 2011, 2012) making a three-peat.
Panchik had incredible composure and calm before the workout. He showed similar behavior during the 2012 CrossFit Games, where he took 4th place after only “doing” CrossFit for 1 year.
I predicted Kyle (left) to be a serious contender in 2009 – 3 years later Kyle Kasperbauer takes 3rd place at the CrossFit Games. Rich Froning (right) looks to be the favorite for 2013; a one man dynasty ?

It was not a happy moment. Three earwigs were extracted from the back yard and put into a glass jar. I tried to take their photo, but they just wouldn’t remain still, not even for a second. I finally got this idea, to stick them in the freezer for a few minutes. After several attempts of 5 minutes, 7 minutes and 10 minutes in the freezer, I still wanted them to move slower. I put the earwigs in the freezer and watched an episode of “Breaking Bad” (HBO TV series). When I pulled the earwigs out of the freezer, they were dead.
You can see moisture on the pincher bugs back. The bugs legs folded under their body, a trait I have seen from other insects when they die.
Both of these photos were assembled using the “focus stacking” technique. I think it was 11 photos each.

The Cleveland Art Museum has a huge entry, with fabulous light. This shot was a no brainer.
