I was walking by Hooters at 10:00AM, 3 blocks from where I just shot a homeless guy shaving in a park fountain and I saw Erica,  She was standing outside her place of employment, HOOTERS.

She was very welcoming and allowed me to snap a few photos.

I ran into Chad on an early morning walk in Berkeley, headed east on University Ave.  He was kind enough to let me snap a few photos.

That’s what I said to Angel, the greatest coffee barista in the world.  He works at the French Hotel on Shattuck Ave in Berkeley, California.  I asked him to “make my coffee with love, hecho con amor”

And when I picked up my “everything bagel with everything”  these two drinks were ready for me.

As Ice Cube said , today was a good day.

Driving home from San Diego last night was memorable.  100 miles north of Los Angles on interstate 5, I stopped in at a gas station and found this awesome swarm of insects.  There were about 4-6 separate swarms.   The insects were harmles and were dying by the hundreds per second.  I don’t know why they were dying, I assume it was the end of their life cycle.  I am not sure if there were 5,000 or 50,000 insects, but there were a lot.  Although the swarms were huge, they were quiet.  I asked Hayley to get into the center of a swarm for a picture.
