I wasn’t pleased with the Sigma 50-500 when mounted on the Canon 5D Mark III. The 1DX makes the high ISO acceptable, and puts this lens in a category of its own.
The 50-500 range makes this versatile beyond all other lens. Coupled with a Sennheiser MKE 400, Manfrotto fluid video mono pod, and the Jobu jr. gimbal, this is a unique video, photo duo with no peer that I know.

This photo shocked me. I thought Kenneth(180lbs) was much larger than Josh Bridges (165lbs), but in this side by side photo, you can see that height, not girth is the primary difference. Both men are extremely swollen after having done 100 wall balls, 100 pull ups, 100 pistols and 100 one-armed dumbbell snatches.

He looks like a champion. Josh Bridges made it look easy today. After winning the 100′s work out (event 4), he reached into the audience and plucked a child (his son I presume) from the crowd. Many other athletes just collapsed after this unbelievable show of strength and power.

Kenneth Leverich was unforgettable in 2012. He was young, kind, approachable and built like a seasoned CrossFitter. If it were not for Josh Bridges (photo coming tomorrow), Leverich would appear bigger than life.
