Aptos Seagulls
02:
photos from February of 2013.
Yesterday (Jan 1, 2014), I went out to feed the Seagulls in La Jolla. I always try to feed them in the air, not on the ground. I throw the bread up in the air, trying to wait until they are as close to me as possible. While feeding the Seagulls yesterday, a lady standing next to me, emptied a bag of bread on the sand. The Seagulls abandoned my tedious feeding process and filled up on her easy to attain bread crumbs. The 100+ birds were full after that feeding frenzy, flew off to a nearby roof top and wouldn’t perform any aerial stunts for me.

I think there is a metaphor for relationships in your experience with the seagulls. When we see an increase in leg injuries or non-flight seagulls we’ll know the cause and your efforts to combat de-evolution. Thanks for keeping them fit and sharing your shots!
