Kenneth Leverich was unforgettable in 2012. He was young, kind, approachable and built like a seasoned CrossFitter. If it were not for Josh Bridges (photo coming tomorrow), Leverich would appear bigger than life.

It’s been too long for the fans, but it has been worth the wait. 2009 CrossFit Games Champion, Mikko Salo will represent Finland at the CrossFit European Regionals May 17-19th .

The 2013 CrossFit Games season is here! A sold out crowd at South Brooklyn CrossFit got to stand just a few feet away from the remarkable and photogenic Annie Thorisdottir. Annie moved with focus and determination. She never broke pace, for the 10 minute AMRAP workout, and the crowd went nuts. She showed us why she is the champ, she glowed, she smiled, I think she even pranced.

Even with the great ISO available on cameras today, I don’t like shooting over 640.

This photo was snapped just as the run, muscle up, snatch event started. Rich Froning won this heat. This was the “top” heat.

For the second year, CrossFit Inc, Coach Greg Glassman, Dave Castro, Tony Budding and a gang load of other all-star CrossFit.com employees have brought the CrossFit world to television, via ESPN. Tonight, was a great night, watching the first installment of the 2012 CrossFit Games on Direct TV channel 209 (ESPN 2). The 2012 CrossFit Games will air more than 100 times between now and the 2013 CrossFit Games.

The 2012 CrossFit Games must have had 300 media/media related personnel. I remember hearing that the official CrossFit media team took over 40,000 stills on Friday (day 2). This guy in the photo is a photographer from Peru. These LED signs that many of us squatted in front of, made the 90+ degree stadium even hotter.
